Kid's Circle and Teen Talk

Kid's Circle and Teen Talk participants

Kids Circle and Teen Talk is a program for families when a parent has cancer. Licensed therapists lead each workshop which has three components:

» an activity-based group for children where they identify feelings and learn coping skills;

» a separate teen group that provides a place to talk with other teens about how they experience cancer in the family;

» and a group for parents to discuss challenges balancing family and cancer treatment. The programs ends with lunch and a family activity designed to enhance communication.
